What are Tree Braids?  They are cornrows in which bulk hair is added in as your hair is braided.

The finished look is all of your hair is within the cornrow leaving out only the hair that has been added.

Can you shampoo Tree Braids?  Yes, please refer to the video for further instructions.

How do I prepare my hair for sleeping?  The most important thing to do when wearing Tree Braids and sleeping is to prevent the hair from rubbing the pillow.  Wear a bonnet, scarf or head band to protect your style while sleeping. This will help to allow you to wear the style longer and keep it looking fresh. 

How long do they last?  4-6 weeks.  No protective style should be kept in past 6 weeks.  

What is the best hair for tree braids?  Synthetic hair is perfect for Tree Braids.  The curl pattern or wave stays even after shampooing.  No heat styling is required.  Some people are afraid of synthetic hair as it is prone to tangling.  However, I carry a product line that is like magic and will prevent frizz, matting and tangling. 

How do I take them down? Tree braids are taken down as you would any cornrow braids.  

Can I get them cut short ? They can not be cut any shorter than the length of your own  hair in the back.  

Can I wear my hair in a high ponytail or bun with Tree Braids?  You can wear your hair up in a ponytail with tree braids.  Due to the small braid base your ponytail will lay flat and will not be lumpy.  For a clean and seamless look Add the Single Braid Service for 2 rows of micro braids at the nape.
